「작은 불빛 아래에서」 포셋, 2022

이 이야기들은 비행기 좌석 위에 달린 작은 독서등 또는 낯선 호텔 방의 조명등 아래에서 남겼던 것들입니다. 우리가 해마다 얼마나 많은 것을 잃으면서 동시에 또 얻게 되었는지에 대해 나누고 싶었습니다. 겨울에 떠났던 여행의 장면을 13종의 엽서로 만들며 그곳에서 느꼈던 짧은 에피소드들을 모았습니다.

"날이 춥다고들 해요. 저는 한국으로 돌아가는 비행기 안에서 이 편지를 적어요. 지금은 깊은 밤이고, 날개 아래로 이름을 알 수 없는 도시의 불빛이 천천히 흘러가고 있어요."

「Under The Small Light」POSET, 2022

These stories were written under the small reading lights above an airplane seat, or beneath the lamp in an unfamiliar hotel room. I wanted to speak about how much we lose each year, and at the same time, how much we also come to gain. While creating a series of thirteen postcards from scenes of a winter trip, I gathered brief episodes from that time.

“They say it is cold. I am writing this letter on a plane back to Korea. It is deep into the night now, and beneath the wing, the lights of a city whose names I do not know drift by slowly.”
